ROSS F. BARNETT is the managing partner of the Des Moines professional corporation of Abendroth Russell Barnett Law Firm , where he practices in the areas of estate planning and probate.  His practice also emphasizes transactional real estate; landlord / tenant litigation; guardianships and conservatorships; and Medicaid, Title XIX, and asset-protection planning.  He received his B.A. degree from Grinnell College in 1992 and his J.D. degree, with honors, from Drake University in 1995.  Ross is a member of the Iowa State Bar Association (Real Estate and Title Examination Section and Probate Section).  He is the author of numerous legal handbooks and is a frequent speaker for Continuing Legal Education classes and other seminars.
